Our promise in plain terms

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except in the few situations listed in Section 3: when the law requires it, or when it is needed to carry out your request.

1. What this policy covers

This policy covers our corporate website. Consensus Systems LLC also operates BoosterConsensus (boosterconsensus.net) and Ticketing by BoosterConsensus (boosterticketing.com). Each has its own privacy policy that covers its website and application. If you use those products, their policies apply to that use.

2. Information we collect

Contact form: your name, email address, organization, topic, and message, which you choose to give us when you write to us.
Email: the contents of any email you send to us, and your address.
Automatically: our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and request time to deliver the page and protect against abuse. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check, which processes limited browser and network signals to tell people from automated traffic.
Cookies and tracking: this Website does not use advertising cookies, and we do not run advertising or behavioral-tracking analytics.

We use what you send us to respond to your inquiry, follow up about our products and services if you asked us to, keep business records, and protect the Website from spam and abuse.

We share personal information only:

To carry out your request. For example, delivering your message to the right person on our team, or connecting you with the product team for BoosterConsensus or Ticketing by BoosterConsensus.
When required by law. To respond to a valid subpoena, court order, or other legal process, to comply with law or regulation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Consensus Systems LLC, our users, or the public.
With service providers who work for us. They handle information only on our instructions and only to provide their service to us. Today this means Cloudflare (website hosting, bot protection, and delivery of contact-form messages to our inbox) and our email provider.
In a business transfer. If Consensus Systems LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer to the successor, which must honor this policy or give you notice of changes.
With your consent.

We do not sell personal information, do not share it for advertising, and do not give it to data brokers.

4. How long we keep information

We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and maintain ordinary business records, then delete them. Ask us earlier if you want yours removed.

5. Security

We use encrypted connections and limit access to inquiries to the people who need them. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

You may ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Residents of certain states (including Texas) may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We honor these requests as required by applicable law. To make a request, email info@consensussystem.com. We may need to verify your identity first.

7. Children

This Website is intended for adults. A child may submit information through it only under the direction and supervision of a School-Authorized Adult: a teacher, director, coach, advisor, administrator, or other adult (other than the child's parent or guardian) who is acting on behalf of a school, school district, or school-sponsored program and has authority from it to direct the child's participation. By directing a child to use the Website, the School-Authorized Adult represents that any consent required from the child's parent or guardian has been obtained, or that they have authority to consent in the parent's place for the activities of the school or school-sponsored program.

We do not knowingly collect information from a child under 13 outside of this supervised, school-authorized use. We use it only to respond to the inquiry, and we do not use it for advertising or sell it. Parents and guardians may ask us to review or delete their child's information at any time. If you believe a child has given us information without the direction of a School-Authorized Adult, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new effective date.
